Lycra is a very popular knit for dress making and creating sportwear. The fabric is soft and smooth to touch. It is known by it's 2-way stretch making it a great choice for sports wear and various types of garments for everyday wear. Sometimes it is also a referred to as Spandex (stretch fabric).
It is always advised to pre wash fabrics before use. For this fabric cold wash is best and air dry where available otherwise low tumble dry.
