Lycra is a very popular knit for dress-making and creating sportswear. The fabric is soft and smooth to touch. It is known by it's 4-way stretch making it a great choice for sports wear and various types of garments for everyday wear, sometimes it is also referred to as Spandex (stretch fabric).
It is always advised to pre-wash fabrics before use. For this fabric cold wash is best and air dry where available otherwise low tumble dry.
